    kernell32/ntdll error playing Unreal Engine games


    After 5-10 minutes of playing some unreal engine games Squad, The Finals, the game crashes with an error see attached. I have attempted a windows reinstall, sfc /scannow, game reinstalls, driver reinstalls, and more. Please help.

    Unreal Engine game crash with kernel32 and ntdll crash message have updated drivers and checked for corrupt files nothing has helped so far

    the error message is as follows:


    Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0xffffffffffffffff

    Can I uninstall Unreal Engine

    Hello, I'm A&K. I'm glad to be able to help you.

    If you don't have Unreal Engine installed, this may be carried by some games made with Unreal Engine. Uninstalling it will not affect your system, but some games may not run.

    Unreal Engine Crashing Game - Win64_Shipping, kernel32, ntdll

    I am getting this error for a game I'm trying to play. Game entirely crashes out and I'm not sure why. I just did a windows "recovery" full reinstall, disabled XMP, reinstalled Nvidia graphics drivers, passed memtest86 and Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool, etc. Any ideas?

    I believe this issue is also causing occasional BSOD. UE also crashes with one other game for me. Current games crashing are Remnant 2 and Deep Rock Galactic.
