Windows 10: Keyboard alphanumeric keys all letters and numbers randomly stop working and work again...

I have been having this weird issue for several months now. It used to happen every now and then, but has been happening much more frequently over the past couple of weeks.The issue is that all the letters and number suddenly stop working and after some time - could be 2 minutes, could be 2 hours - start working again. In the meantime all the control keys such as Ctrl, Shift, Start key, Enter, Caps Lock etc keep working. Even key combinations such as Ctrl-C or Ctrl-V, orThere is absolutely no specific trigger I can point to before this issue starts happening, or for when it is back to normal.

alphanumeric number keys

For some reason, my alphanumeric number keys won't work. I believe it is my keyboard. But I also have a feeling that it is due to my pc being broken/bugged. I have looked at the cable, and everything seems to be okay and connected.
I have also restarted my pc, but none of those methods seem to work for me. The only numbers I can use on the alphanumeric keys are 5, 6, as well as their characters %, and ^.

Please tell me what I should do.

random keyboard keys stop working?

i went out today and everything was fine, i come home and three random keys stopped working, maybe more i havent noticed yet. the three key on the left side of the keyboard not working, the left shift stopped working, and the enter key stopped working, but the one on the numpad works fine. no one was home to use it, nothing spilled on it, i tried it on another computer and same deal. im gonna go buy a new one tomorrow but it makes me sad cause i loved this keyboard lol, microsoft ergonomic 4000. ill probably buy the same exact one if its in stock tomorrow, this one lasted or 4 years about. im just confused why three random keys spread out stopped working at the same time...seems very weird

 

AlphaNumeric Keyboard numbers not working on USB External Keyboards

The number keys on the alphanumeric portion of my USB keyboard are not working except for 5 and 6 and % and ^. I am running Windows 10 with latest critical patches, The problem started about 2 weeks ago. I have swapped out USB keyboards, looked at BIOS, used different USB Ports, reinstalled Windows, ran SFC and CHKDSK, have no errors in Device Manager, Windows Troubleshooter found no issues. It feels like I may have accidentally hit a keyboard combination that perhaps changed configuration? Computer is a CyberPowerPC with ASUS Proart z490-creator Motherboard. There was another thread with the same problem, but no solution was posted. Redirecting

The keys do not work in Safe Mode either. To get around this, I have been using the Windows On-Screen Keyboard in tandem with my USB keyboards.

Any help would be appreciated.
