Windows 10: Keyboard and mouse are working in login windows screen only works in bios and safe mode how...

My keyboard and mouse are not working and I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING!! and look for other solutions as well. I unplugged my keyboard and mouse tried all my ports the problem still there all i tired other keyboards and mouses that doesn't work I tried my keyboard on another device and they work. I even unplugged keyboard and mouse and shut down my pc and waited for like 5mins then powered it up and plugged my mouse and keyboard back in still didn't work NOTE: I tried plugging up my phone and other devices MY PORTS ARE NOT DAMAGE THEY ARE WORKING. My keyboard and mouse are recognized but won't w

Windows 10 Login Screen - Not recognizes any keyboard and mouse

Windows 10 Login Screen not recognizes to ANY keyboard and mouse (both wired and wireless) but when power up to start up and the keyboard is working fine before login screen.

BUT - I am able to enter BIOS (keyboard working fine) and Acer Recovery Program (pressed by ALT + F10) and both keyboard and mouse working fine.

ONLY Login Screen not working where I have to type in password to unlock screen, however the keyboard’s number lock light went off when got on that screen, before that - it was light on while I am on BIOS and Recovery Program.

This not even make sense.

However, I tried those list.

• System restore (failed third times).
• Refresh PC (failed).
• Startup Repair (failed).
• Tried go on safe mode but keyboard and mouse not recognizing.
• I tried unplug both usb and restart without it until login screen open and reconnect both keyboard and mouse, still not recognizing.

I tried everything, seem nothing work at the login screen.

Any advice?

 

Stuck in Safe Mode Login Screen with no options

Hi,


Please can you help. I am completely locked out of my PC.


I wanted to turn fast boot on my bios so I selected to put the Windows 10 into Safe Mode after changing the Bios settings.


Now I am stuck on Safe Mode login screen as I do not know my password.


From the Advanced Options screen, I have selected Startup Settings, to try to Enable Safe Mode with Networking, but the USB keyboard won't work in Startup Settings, I have tried every USB port on my PC, but it doesn't work. (Other people have had this issue). The annoying thing is that the keyboard does work on the safe mode login screen but not in Start Up Settings. I have also tried wireless keyboards which also don't work in Start Up Settings, but also do work in the login screen.


I have changed my Windows password on my phone but because I'm not connected to the network (even though I have an ethernet cable plugged into my PC and modem) it says my password is wrong.


From the Advanced Options screen, I have even tried resetting the PC but that requires a password.


So now I can't get into Windows and I can't get into Bios.


Does anyone have any suggestions please?

It is frozen or just black screen in Safe mode ?
might try to repair Windows by an installation DVD or a USB stick
