Windows 10: Keyboard and mouse centre

Keyboard and mouse centre short cut and files deleted in error - now cant re-install as says already installed

Uninstall Microsoft Keyboard And Mouse Centre (Missing)

I have started getting errors with the Microsoft Keyboard And Mouse Centre, tried to re-install it but can't because the software is already on my machine. If I try to run it though, nothing happens. When I try to uninstall it either via Control Panel>Programs & Features, or with IObit Uninstaller, the program is not listed.
Tried a system restore, but that did not help either.
Does anyone have any suggestions, please?

Hi,

I have a new Microsoft Mouse & Keyboard 2000 now.

Tried what you suggested with an old keyboard, connected the new one and it's a bit better.

I stll get an error saying the 'MKCHelper.exe' file is missing.

I still can't uninstall/reinstall Microsoft Mouse & Keyboard Centre, as it says it is on the PC, but is not listed in the list of software to uninstall.

When I slow the wheel scroll speed down, it works fine, but when I restart the PC I have to do it again, as it speeds up so much I can't control it.

Thanks, I have tried that, and the Microsoft Mouse & Keyboard Centre is not listed, so I click on 'not listed' but it then fails to do anything.
