Windows 10: Keyboard and touch pad not working in windows 10 after getting connected to the internet

I am facing a problem with keyboard and touch pad of my laptop HP Pavilion X 360. it was not working when windows 10 booted but working under bios and also when windows was reinstalled it was working but when i was connected to the internet it stops working from that point. I observed that it was going into the tablet mode option. when i contact the service center they said update should be given by the Microsoft .

Keyboard and touch pad issue

I have HP x360 laptop with Windows 10 on it. The problem is my keyboard and touch pad only works in BIOS mode but not when Windows get loaded. I have tried installing different OS too (Windows 7, Windows 8) but the problem still persists. During hardware
tests, the keyboard and touch pad tests show successful which suggests it's not an hardware issue. I have tried updating keyboard and touch pad drivers, even updated BIOS version. If anyone has the solution, kindly help me out.

 

Keyboard and touch pad not working after using as tablet mode

I have a toshiba convertible laptop, I was using it in both laptop mode and tablet mode. Suddenly after converting from tablet mode to laptop mode the keyboard and touch pad stopped working in windows. The keyboard is functional and working in bios I am able to change the options in bios but when it comes to windows only the function keys are working to change the system settings. The touch pad is also having the same issue.

 

Keyboard and touch pad not working after windows updates

So I bought a new laptop a week ago or so (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAATJ6Y48865). When I got it the keyboard and touch pad did not work. I ended up nuking the system and reinstalling to get them to work. Windows installed updates
yesterday and when I took the laptop in to work with me last night the keyboard and mouse did not work. I made it back to the hotel today and decided to see what was going on. I am showing error 10 on the touch pad

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

The specified I/O operation on %hs was not completed before the time-out period expired.

and because of this the keyboard isn't even detected. At least my USB keyboard and mouse still work, but really this is killing me here. I am going to try and rollback windows, but really can't windows do something like look at device manager see if there
are any problems before an update save a list of those then after the update check the list and if they broke something they just automatically roll back to before the updates?
