    I was using a avita laptop , and they do have a backlit support , but it gets annoying when it gets off after 5 secs of non usage of the keyboard , i want to keep it on all the time , but i do not find any keyboard backlit option in the settings neither do i find any settings in BIOS , can someone help me to keep the backlit on always without pausing after each 5 sec. Other company laptop have in-built settings to change the function but i guess avita is little bit off the table. thanks if anyone can help!!

    Thanks to all who have participated.

    Step one of your instructions resolved the backlite issue. One driver update was found, and BIOS was updated from v1.3.2 to v1.3.3. Upon reboot the keyboard functions as expected.

    Backlit Keyboard

    Ever since I switched to Windows 10 (from 7) my backlit keyboard no longer works on my Sony Vaio Laptop (VPCSB). The Sony Vaio hard drives were deleted and there is no way to get those back. Is there any way to get the backlit keyboard to work again?
