Windows 10: Keyboard completely unresponsive or doing things I don’t want

I can’t type anything in any search boxes and I can’t type my pin. Also I’ve tried using the on screen keyboard to access my computer but when I press something, it doesn’t do anything. Please help

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

1.Go to
Settings > Time & language >
Region & language.

2.Select
Add a language.

3.Select the language you want to use from the list, then choose which region's version you want to use. Your download will begin immediately.

Keyboard unresponsive after update to Windows 10 version 1073

One possible reason why your keyboard is slow and unresponsive after an update may be due to driver incompatibility. As an initial recommendation, we suggest that you run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to resolve this issue. Kindly follow the steps
below:

• Type Troubleshooting in Cortana's search field and press
  Enter.
• Click on View All in the top left corner.
• Click on Hardware and Devices from the list and follow the prompts.
