Windows 10: Keyboard doesn't work at sign-in or Windows Hello, Windows 10

The keyboard on my HP Spectre does not work at the sign-in screen. I can work around the problem by choosing "Sign-in Options" and then choosing the Password icon - the keyboard works in that field. I have followed every piece of advice I have found in multiple threads, but none of them have worked. This includes uninstalling and reinstalling keyboard drivers. No, the onscreen keyboard doesn't work. Changing options under "Ease of Access" doesn't work. Running the hardware troubleshooters doesn't work. My Windows Updates are current.

I cannot change any of the options inside the Sign-In Options system-settings app, because all of those options require that I reenter my password and do not include a work-around.

I created another account that has administrator privileges, on this same laptop; the keyboard works at sign-in on that account. I have compared the registry entries for the working account and the nonworking account at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList; they are identical. How can I make my default account work as well as the new account?

keyboard doesn' t working, it doesn't popup on my nokia lumia 735 after I took windows 10, 10586 version. Please, help!!!

 

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.
