    Keyboard Driver didn't reinstall after uninstalling


    Okay, my keyboard suddenly stopped working yesterday. I tried just about everything it seems like to fix it. I Uninstalled the many sub category drivers I had under the 'Keyboards' window and then restarted computer. Now the entire keyboards drop down menu is gone and I find it anywhere. Someone PLEASE help, this is a nightmare.Also it seems as though my PC may have encountered a file corruption at some point due to my CMD prompt telling me I did, and that my recovery WINRE folder is completely gone so that's probably helpful to know. ANY help would be incredible, this is infuriating.

    How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

    I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

    Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

    Any suggestions? *Confused Keyboard Driver didn't reinstall after uninstalling :confused:

    You could face this issue due to corrupt our outdated Keyboard Driver. I suggest you to follow the steps given below and check if it helps you.

    What is the make and model of your computer?

    Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

    Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

    • Type Troubleshooting in Search.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Select View all on the top left corner.
    • Run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.
    Move to next method if you still face this issue.

    Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall the Keyboard driver from manufacturer’s website.

    Follow these steps to Uninstall Keyboard driver.

    • Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
    • Search for Keyboard driver and expand it.
    • Right click on the Keyboard driver and select Uninstall.
    I suggest you to download the latest keyboard drivers from the manufacturers website.
