Windows 10: Keyboard icon

New Surface Go owner. A Keyboard icon is not located on my taskbar and the keyboard does not Pop up when trying to enter certain user and password info. I have gone into Taskbar setting and there is no icon for a keyboard. I am in the desktop setting rather than tablet. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thank you so much for trying to help with a few of my problems. I have tried the steps you listed above and the keyboard is turned to off but it still continues to appear when I restart the computer and the Auto Arrange Icons is not checked but the icons
continue to move to the middle of my screen.

Do you have any other suggestions for these issues and with my McAfee?

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your devices. Refer these steps:

  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.

How can I get rid of the "clipboard" icon on my keyboard?

You may follow these steps to remove the clipboard icon on your keyboard:

1. Under your App list, go to Settings.

2. Tap keyboard under Settings.

3. Tap the keyboard that you are using.

4. Uncheck the "Suggest text".

5. Try copying something again and paste it.

6. Lock the screen and reopen it, then check the clipboard icon on the keyboard if it's still showing.
