    Keyboard Input freezing


    I am getting a strange experience from the keyboard (integrated into laptop) since upgrading to Win 10. It did not happen immediately after upgrade, but 6 weeks on, its driving me nuts.

    Here goes - particularly in Gmail, composing or replying emails. I type and then suddenly the letters freeze and nothing is typed fro several seconds. If you look closely, while the freeze occurs the screen flicks once and then you can type again. It does not type anything inputted whilst it is frozen, so its not a lagging issue.

    It feels like something is going on in the background which is occupying the RAM, bit like buffering.

    It does not happen in Word or composing this thread!

    Any ideas?

    Writing using keyboard

    When trying to input text in contacts, texts, whatsApp etc using the keyboard on my Lumia 640 Lte, it will freeze and then shut down. I am unable to input text in anyway. Need help to resolve this.

    Hi, thanks for the answer. The problem is that I cannot access any of these troubleshooting options as the pc is unresponsive to keyboard inputs and freezes and crashes once it reaches the recovery page.
