  1. Keyboard input issue on boot following use of recovery>advanced startup>restart now

Hi there, I need help. I used recovery>advanced startup>restart now. But it boots up, says windows is loading files, then asks me keyboard input language, but disables my keyboard and mouse. I tried using a different set of mouse and keyboard, same result. The only way I managed to get past and log in was by triggering a system repair, by booting then cutting the power 3 times. After using my pc, assuming it would be fine now, I shut down, but when I again switched on the pc, it did the same thing. So I had to repeat the process of triggering a system repair. I saved my personal files to

  2. Open Command Prompt at Boot in Windows 10

Yup, the system listed under "My System Specs"...

    I followed:

Settings -> Update & Security -> Recovery -> Advanced startup -> Restart now

After boot: Troubleshoot (image 1) -> Startup Settings (image 2) -> Restart (image 3), which took me to image 4.

    Hi,

Please answer these question to assist you better.

Are you able to Windows recovery environment?

I suggest you to create a Windows 10 installation media and perform a Startup Repair on the device and check if it helps to resolve the issue.
This is an alternate way to boot the device and run recovery tools when something goes wrong with the Operating system.

Please follow the steps below to do Startup repair:

    Steps:-

            • Insert the installation USB drive
and boot Windows 10 from it.

If you don't have one, you can Create an installation Media.

            • In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’
and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.

            • Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.

            • Click on ‘Advanced options’ and select ‘Startup Repair’
              and select the operating system.

Do let us know if you are able to boot to desktop. Thank you.
