Windows 10: Keyboard keeps beeping every time I hit a key

This problem only started yesterday, which confused me. I haven’t changed any settings in the past day or two, so I was confused where the problem came from. Whenever I would hit a key, a beeping sound would play. I tried turning Filter Keys, Sticky Keys, and pretty much everything else in Control Panel. I’ve tried connecting other keyboards, but the same problem arose. Whenever I actually restart my computer and the beeping stops, then my keyboard freezes when i hit buttons sometimes. What could the problem be?

To help you with your concern, we suggest that you troubleshoot the keyboard. Follow these step by step instructions on how to troubleshoot:

• Click Windows tab.
• Type Troubleshooting.
• On the left side, click View all.
• Choose Hardware and Devices.
• It will prompt you to run as Administrator. Enter your credentials then it will check for any problems with your computer.

Keyboard shortcut Alt key not working

Step 1: You may check if the ALT key is functioning correctly in on-screen keyboard. It will help us to verify if there is any issue with the keyboard.

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

  Windows + Q, type OSK (on-screen keyboard)

  And check if it works
  

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your devices. Refer these steps:

Shift button keeps on beeping

I have tried the two steps but my SHIFT button still beeps. I have restarted my PC and the SHIFT button still beeps.
