Windows 10: Keyboard lag in 100% cpu useage

I have experiencing keyboard lags in 90% cpu useage which causes my keyboard to stop for a while and only keys like esc works.

My keyboard have no problems because it runs on my secon pc well.

I have installed latest drivers also checked the power management settings for keyboard and usb hubs and unchecked *allow the system to stop this device to save power*

But the problem remains the same.


Kindly tell me a solution.

Ever since the December upgrade my CPU useage has always been near or at 100% with memory useage (of 4K) at 80% or higher. I am running Chrome and avast. I tried uninstalling avast but it stays in the tray and runs and shows up but can not uninstall.
I get avast antivirus running and avast service too!

Outlook (Hotmail) typing lag and 100% CPU usage

Internet Explorer trouble shooter didn't find any issues.

I opened Internet Explorer with all addons off, as you requested. I opened Hotmail, tried replying to an email, and still get lag, with CPU usage spiking from around 80-100%.

I already did several Clean Boots. My problem still exists.

Please note that in my original description I stated that I'm getting the lag in four different types of browsers (Edge, I.E. 11, Chrome, and Firefox). I'm pretty sure you saw that, but just in case I thought I'd point it out.

I'm not sure if this is a Windows issue or what. Thanks for the response, but unfortunately none of these steps fixed anything.
