Windows 10: Keyboard language automatically changes after some time

This is gonna be a hard one to explain, so ill do my best. So please bare with me, as this is quite weird, and after 3 weeks, we still cant find a solution. For some reason can't I upload any screenshots, as it fails every time. Setup: Windows 10 - 21H2. Using AD + GP for every PC. Users settings are very strict, and a lot of settings have been disabled for the user to change. TLR Issue A bunch of specific PC's, where the language is set to a specific language, changes back to its original "windows default" setting, after reboot or after a few hours. Windows 8.1 update changed the language, can't change back

Maybe, these will help... it seems it is a common enough problem.

Language packs are no longer available after you upgrade to Windows 8.1

And, sort of the same here --> Add a language or keyboard

Change your Windows display language

  (If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, click Settings, and then click Change PC settings.)

• Tap or click Set as primary to move the language to the top of the list. If the language can become your Windows display language, you'll see Will be display language after next sign-in appear under the language.
• Sign out and then sign back in to finish.

Keyboard language layout changes automatically.

Hello,

To disable automatic keyboard layout change, follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.
• Choose Control Panel.
• Under View by, select Small icon.
• Click Language.
• On the left side, choose Advance settings.
  
  
  
  
• Under Switching input methods, uncheck Let me set a different input method for each app window.
  
  
  
  
• Click Save.
• Restart your computer.

Accidentally pressing some shortcut keys may cause some unwanted changes on your computer. Kindly view the samples below:

Windows Key + Space key = Changes language/keyboard pairs.

Alt + Shift = Change Language.

Ctrl + Shift = Changes keyboard.

Keyboard language keeps changing

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

1. Since when are you facing this issue?
   
2. Have you installed Spanish Keyboard in your desktop?
   

You can follow the steps to fix the issue.



Method 1:



Removing other keyboard layouts.

1. Go to Settings > Time & Language >
   Region & Language.
   
2. Click on Spanish
   and Click on Remove.
   
3. Now add the Spanish language again from
   Region & Language under
   Settings.
   

Also, if you are using an older build of Windows 10, you can refer to the suggestions by

Monica Cam dated 10th October 2016.



Method 2:



Changing the language preference to English only.

1. Go to Settings > Devices >
   Typing.
   
2. Under More keyboard settings click on
   Advanced keyboard settings.
   
3. Now under Override for default input method select
   English.
   
4. Restart the computer.
