Windows 10: Keyboard Language Blocked by System Administrator

Thank you very much for your attention.At my workplace, changing the keyboard language or layout has been blocked. When one tries to add a language, it is completely impossible without an administrator-privileged account.The system administrator wants to help me but does not know where to enable this or at least make the required languages available to non-administrator users. He has told me that if I know the configuration, he will be happy to help me change it.Could you please tell us where we can change it? Keyboard language mess up

• What is the make and model of the computer?
  
• When you say that your preferred keyboard language disappeared or was deleted, did you try reinstalling it?
  
• If yes, were you able to reinstall it?
  
• If No, what happens when you try to reinstall it or any other keyboard language?
  

Kindly provide some more details so that we can suggest the appropriate troubleshooting steps.

Meanwhile, make sure that Windows is up to date. I would suggest to create a new user account and see if you can add/remove the keyboard languages.

Want English language system with Japanese IME keyboard

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

To change the keyboard language.

• 
  Press Windows +X
  
• 
  Click on Control pane;
  
• 
  Select Language
  
• 
  Click Language options
  
• 
  Add an input methods
  
• 
  Choose the appropriate language and check if you are to choose the language.

The extra keyboard layout keep adding to my language bar (with Pics)

Hi Panupong,

The updated Windows 10 may have detected your language, the reason why it automatically gave you the other Thai US keyboard. To correct this issue, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Click on the Start Menu, type in region and language settings and select it.
• Under Languages, select Thai Kedmanee keyboard and click Remove.
• Lastly, add it back by clicking Add a language.

After these steps, your keyboard layout will permanently stay with Thai Kedmanee keyboard.
