Windows 10: Keyboard layout and hotkey being changed automatically by Windows

Hi guys, my OS is Windows 11 and recently I found my keyboard layout would be automatically by Windows.Originally I had two languages, English Singapore and Chinese Simplifed. Recently every time I restart my computer, the layout would be reset into 3 languages, the additional one being English United States. This keeps happening even if I deleted English US manually.Along with the change in keyboard layout, my hotkey to switch between languages would be reset from ctrl+shift into left alt+shift as well.Will be grateful if you guys could help me fix this issue up!

This suggests to me that you are using the wrong "keyboard language" for your keyboard, and that therefore you first step would be to determine exactly what language keyboard you have. Possibly have a look at Windows Keyboard Layouts - Globalization | Microsoft Docs.

(The age of any laptop capable of running Windows 10 at all should not be a problem as regards keyboard layout)

Change the default keyboard layout or input method

Change your keyboard layout

Note: Applies to windows 10 as well.
