Windows 10: Keyboard layout key combination is not working

    Keyboard layout key combination is not working


    I've installed the custom keyboard layout for the Ukrainian language - it has some additional symbols. Everything works perfectly except one combination - Alt+Ctrl+і in the Ukrainian layout in the English layout, it would be Alt+Ctrl+s. It returns nothing, but it should return the ы symbol. Interesting that Alt+Ctrl+Shift+і is working and&nb

    How to change the default keyboard layout shortcut.

    Hi,

    I would like to inform you that presently you may change the default keyboard layout by pressing
    Windows key + space and I would like to inform you that it is not possible to change the keyboard shortcut for the keyboard layout.

    • If you would like to create shortcut for the applications, please follow the below steps:
    • Right click on the application and select properties.
    • Enter a key combination in the Shortcut key field. The combination must be CTRL + ALT + a letter / number.

    "Letters and numbers are all correct, but most of the other signs are misplaced"

    This suggests to me that you are using the wrong "keyboard language" for your keyboard, and that therefore you first step would be to determine exactly what language keyboard you have. Possibly have a look at Windows Keyboard Layouts - Globalization | Microsoft Docs.

    (The age of any laptop capable of running Windows 10 at all should not be a problem as regards keyboard layout)

    Malayalam Keyboard Full Layout

    Is there a documentation on the full layout for the Malayalam keyboard including combination characters and "Chillaksharam'' especially when typing with the Traditional lipi? I tried searching for this and a few online resources for INSCRIPT keyboard
    does not list the combinations correctly. An example is the key combination of 'nd]' with is generating ല്ർ instead of ല്‍ as per the layout of Inscript. I have not been able to identify which combination will generate ല്‍ in the keyboard.
