Windows 10: Keyboard layout reset at restart

Hi, so, when I restart my PC, a new keyboard layout that I never added appears. I only want to keep one, the English US, so every time I go to settings, I have to add those languages and then remove them . This way works, but I have to do this every time I restart. My country is Italy and that's why at least i think it adds Italy, but I have no idea why it adds UK too. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

This suggests to me that you are using the wrong "keyboard language" for your keyboard, and that therefore you first step would be to determine exactly what language keyboard you have. Possibly have a look at Windows Keyboard Layouts - Globalization | Microsoft Docs.

(The age of any laptop capable of running Windows 10 at all should not be a problem as regards keyboard layout)

 

Accidently overwritten a Keyboard Layout, How to reset it?

I accidently overwritten my Keyboard layout (French) with Keyboard Layout Manager, so now the French Keyboard layout is QWERTY while it's supposed to be AZERTY. I was wondering if I could reset it to it's original state or if there
is something else I can do?

Follow the below mentioned steps and check if it helps you in fixing the issue.

• Click Start button, type Control Panel
  and select the same from the list
• Clicking Clock, Language, and Region, and then
  Language.
• 
  Now select the options against the language to which you need to change the keyboard layout
  
• 
  Under Input Method section, click Add a Input Method
  
• 
  Browse and select an AZERTY keyboard layout from the list. Remove the existing
  Input Method.
  
• 
  Click Save.

  Not all of the AZERTY keyboard layouts are labeled as AZERTY. To verify if a keyboard layout is AZERTY, select the keyboard, and then click
  Preview.

Cannot remove Keyboard Layout

It is possible that you need to configure your keyboard layout that is why you still see it in the list even you already remove it. To address your issue, we suggest that you follow the steps on this
