Windows 10: Keyboard Light won't turn on it's not backlit keyboard

I am using a laptop and normally when I mute my laptop a light would turn on and it won't, same happens when I plug in my laptop, the light that shows that it's plugged in also won't light up but it's actually charging.*** Moved from Spanish Forum ***

If your notebook computer has a backlit keyboard, there is a special key on the keyboard to turn the light on and off. Use the backlight in dim lighting situations.

To turn the keyboard backlight on or off, press the F5 key. If the backlight icon is not on the F5 key, look for the backlit keyboard key on the row of function keys. It might be necessary to press the fn (function) key at the same time to activate the backlight

• May we know the make and model of the device that you're using? Also, please indicate if you're having difficulties turning it back due to a recent software update or changes made on your computer.
• Have you checked your device manufacturer's user guide to verify if there's a function key or a BIOS setting to disable/enable the keyboard backlight?
