    Hello, I've been facing this problem for weeks now and finally decided to get some help.My setup: I'm using a thinkpad T14 laptop connected to a HP monitor, usually displaying "second screen only"Problem: recently, my laptop will suddenly switch to "PC laptop screen only" without prompt OR random screen flicker and my keyboard will lose function temporarily can't type anything. Things I've tried or observed:- uninstall display driver in device manager and restarting force reinstall?- uninstall keyboard driver in device manager and restarting force reinstall?- right click desktop > d

    Keyboards - Change of Function

    I just went into control panel and keyboards, it says I have 4 setting. I deleted all except the ps2 and rebooted, it put the others back in HID Keyboards, I only have the one attached. I decided to do a screen dump of the PS2 keyboard drivers and noticed something: what the hell is ESET.

    screen brightness selection function disappeared from system and brightness keys on keyboard also lose effectiveness

    my laptop screen suddenly becomes stretched at the same time the screen is extremely bright. I tried to use keyboard screen brightness key to control but both of them lose function. I also tried to change from display setting but the brightness function
    totally disappeared. Please help!

    why do we lose function in our external monitors when we do windows 10 updates

    Try this:

    • Connect it to the external monitor then switch ON your laptop. If you failed to get the display in external monitor, then use the proper combination keys(like Fn+F5/ the function key that's having the monitor symbol on it) to toggle between your laptop
      screen and the external monitor.
    • Try decreasing your screen resolution.
