    Keyboard & mouse not workibg,.....alternatlves?


    My keyboard, trackpad and mouse stop working. After a day or so they re-connect.
    No one has been able to offer a solution. So I and have to use the onscreen keyboard and touch with a basic stylus --- very slow, as now.

    It would help if I had answers to the following

    1. how do I right click with the stylus, keyboard? for example to use Cmd prompt with admin, to run sfc
    2. how do I get Cortana to launch apps / files commands on the PC instead of always defaulting to the web?
    3. how do I get Cortana to obey speech commands like run, open, select, enter, save?

    Mouse & Keyboard Center 3.2.116 breaks Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic mouse

    After installing Mouse & Keyboard Center 3.2.116 the buttons on my Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic mouse no longer work, and the trackpad clicks on my SP5 keyboard also no longer work.

    Only fix is to unplug Sculpt mouse and restart SP5, then the trackpad works normally. Plugging the Sculpt back in repeats the issue.

    Uninstalled Mouse & Keyboard Center 3.2.116, but Sculpt is still not working. Cannot reinstall Mouse & Keyboard Center 3.2.116 as I now get Error 1603.

    MS Mouse and Keyboard Center not working with Windows 10

    Since updating to Windows 10 the MS Mouse & Keyboard Center doesn't show my Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 anymore and therefore I can't customize my Mouse settings. I know my Keyboard (MS Comfort Curve Keyboard 2000) and my Mouse are both on the
    compatibility list for the MS Mouse & Keyboard Center and they did work perfect in Windows 7. Is the MS Mouse and Keyboard Center compatible with Windows 10?

    From memory to right click on a tablet with the stylus you would keep the stylus over the file you wish to right click longer than you would normally. Can't help with Cortana as I don't use it

    Thanks for reminding me of that .... my mind was stuck on double tapping, but got it working now. Apart from solving the Keyboard lssue I now have to find how to get speech commands to work.
