Windows 10: keyboard not connecting

I have just had to reset my windows 10 and now it will not connect to any keyboard with an USB . It knows there is a keyboard there because the power light comes on when i start up the computer and then it goes off. If i press any button the power comes on, but no key will work.Thank youGeorge

Method 2.

Try updating the latest keyboard devices from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

d. Restart the computer and check.

how do I connect my remote keyboard with bluetooth? I have tried with the following steps but it still will not connect

   Bluetooth.
