  1. Keyboard not registering combined inputs following Windows 11 update

Hi there, I shut down my computer last night as part of a Windows 11 update, and I'm now having an issue with my keyboard that I cannot seem to resolve. The problem occurs when I press two or more keys together, such as when playing video games. For example, if I am playing a video game that uses WASD movement, and I hit W and A at the same time, the resulting movement is purely up or purely left, not diagonal. The same can be said for inputs such as WASD movement and spacebar - only one or the other will register, not both. Prior to this update, the keyboard was working as intended. The issue

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:
    • Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
    • Try different keyboard or mouse.
    • Restart computer, repeatedly.
    • Google for related issues.
    • Update Bios, because why not.
    • Create boot media and revert to windows 7.
The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.

Language keyboard input doesn't equal output

    Hi,

Language input may vary depending on the Input method set on your keyboard settings. To sort your concern, we suggest that you check if the desired input is set correctly by following these steps:

    • Type in Language and keyboard options on the search box.
    • Select the desired language that you're trying to set up.
    • Once you've selected the language, select Options.
    • Under Keyboards, select Microsoft IME and click
      Options.
    • Scroll down and select Open advanced settings.
    • A window will pop up. Under General tab, click the drop-down arrow for
Input method and select the desired input.
    • Click OK.

Let us know if you encounter any challenges along the process.
