Windows 10: keyboard not work properly

Discus and support keyboard not work properly in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; i use window11 64 bit. i do not have yet the version of 22h2. when i use the key of shift to access the symbol on the top of the number,some are ok but...     keyboard not work properly


    i use window11 64 bit. i do not have yet the version of 22h2. when i use the key of shift to access the symbol on the top of the number,some are ok but some are not. exemple when i need to enter the symbol of @ it the symbol of " appear. for now i can use the virtual keyboard who work perfecly but i am curious to know why the keyboard of the laptop have some area do not work well. my laptop is asus zenbook pro duo 15 oled. ux582 lr all the window are up to date and the driver of intel. it is a physical problem with the keyboard or different issue? who can help me. thanks.

    I realize that the keyboard is not working properly. I will try to help you with this issue.


    • Did you make any changes to the PC prior to this issue?
    Suggest you to plug in an external keyboard to check if that helps.

    Follow these steps to launch the On-screen keyboard:


    • Press Windows key + R to get the run window.

    • Type “osk” and hit enter to launch the On-screen keyboard and check if this helps.

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. I understand you are facing difficulties as your keyboard is not working properly. I will assist you with this issue.



    First of all, I would suggest you to install all the latest updates released by Microsoft from Windows Updates and check if that helps or not. And to update your drivers, please follow the steps and let us know if it helps fixing the issue or not:

    Open Device Manager by pressing Windows key + X, click on
    Control Panel; select System and Maintenance.

    • Click on Device Manager.
    • In Device Manager, locate Keyboard and double-click to check if it’s working properly.
    • Go to Driver tab, then click on Update Driver. And follow the instructions.
