Windows 10: Keyboard not working in startup settings nor recovery,

When I get to startup settings, I get these options, but no matter what I try, the options just wont work.things i tried:Replacing the cmos batteryChanging the usb port of the keyboardClean installation of windowsNote: I've tried finding if there is a usb legacy option in the bios/uefi but there isn't. Now I have another computer that has the exact same hardware with windows 11 installed where safe mode is working, exact same keyboard, everything. So I want to try to copy the recovery partition from the working pc and overwrite the recovery partition of the other pc, I don't know if that is po

Keep onscreen keyboard from displaying at startup

Hi Helene,

I suggest to try the steps below and check if it helps.

• Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete key on the Keyboard.
• Click on More details.
• Go to Startup Tab.
• Right click on Onscreen Keyboard And select
  disable.

Windows Recovery No Keyboard After a Crash

Hi,

Improper USB keyboard configuration in the BIOS settings is one of the factors which may prevent your device from working properly. As an initial step to enable the keyboard, we suggest that you enable the
USB Keyboard Support or Legacy USB Support
in BIOS. To do this, we suggest that you contact the device manufacturer or check their support site for a detailed guide on how to modify the
BIOS settings.

Note: Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the
configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk. 

Once you're done, check if you'll be able to proceed with the language keyboard screen. If yes, click the
Repair your computer link and then perform Startup Repair to fix any boot related errors. To perform the repair, follow the steps below:

• On the repair screen, select Troubleshoot.
• Select Advanced options.
• Select Startup Repair.
• Wait for the repair to complete.
• Restart the device if prompted and check if the device boots properly.
