Windows 10: Keyboard not working on Windows 10 when login as admin

Hi, so here's an odd problem: I have five computers all running Windows 10 that I log into regularly I have the admin login. This morning I noticed that for one of the computers after having been logged in for a few minutes the keyboard stopped working, but the mouse still ok. Throughout the day the same thing happened for all five computers, none of their keyboards are working when logged in as administrator. However if logged in as another user keyboard works fine ?? Another odd thing, when I keep the key pressed down on the keyboard that does not work it will make tick sound in the speakers and display the letter pressed but only after having pressed it enough to normally have caused the character to be typed repeatedly.
Also might be important to notice that all this happened on the same day as my computers told me that windows 10 was ready to have its anniversary upgrade. I now have anniversary upgrades, but no keyboards working. Any suggestions to what is causing this and how it can be fixed would be greatly appreciated.

Windows 10 - Login prompt - On-Screen keyboard or Keyboard layout change

Hi Experts,

Post installing, Windows 10 looks like keyboard layout has changed to something else. I am assuming "English - United Kingdom". So I couldn't login for other users (#, * interchanged, I guess) other than admin account.

When I click Admin account, I get a keyboard icon in the bottom right. I managed to change the keyboard layout and logged in. But with other users, I see no keyboard icon in the bottom right of the login screen.

I need help in 2 things.

1. How do I get multiple keyboard layouts for other users in the login screen? I guess they have only one keyboard layout set by default. That's why I don't see key the keyboard icon to choose between layouts.

2. How do I get on screen keyboard before login (in login screen) for all the users? At least I can check what I key in.

 

Logging in

That part of that link was showing a way to avoid your user login and to create a new user to login with instead. It might not work if you have no Admin user login in the first place. It wants you to start off by booting into the Startup Repair options,
in their case using a Setup DVD, or .iso file, and if necessary altering the booting options to accomplish such a thing. I don't believe that last step is necessary.
