Keyboard not working properly on One User profile even when turning off filter thing i was told to turn off

Microsoft should filter Windows 10 updates properly and create a smoother installation system

Having spent two days trying to get the list of updates available actually installed (disk check/disk repair/et al) and a 'boffin' suggesting as a solution that I share my data with all and sundry, I decided to download the list manually.

It turns out that NONE of them are appropriate for Windows 10.

Can I suggest that Microsoft find a way of filtering these things properly and offer the opportunity of a check box system (as with Windows 8.1 RT) to designate which ones the user wants installing and making a distinction between important and other updates.

Follow these steps to launch the On-screen keyboard:

  Press Windows key + R to get the run window.

  Type “osk” and hit enter to launch the On-screen keyboard and check if this helps.

Filter Keys

Hi,

Filter Keys are part of the Ease of Access features in Windows 10 that can help users control the keypress repeat rate and ignore the repeated keys. This setting can be disabled by following these steps:

• Click Start.
• Type Control Panel and press Enter.
• Click Ease of Access.
• Click Change how your keyboard works.
• Click Set up Filter Keys.
• Uncheck Turn on Filter Keys when right SHIFT is pressed for 8 seconds.
• Uncheck Turn on Filter Keys.
• Click Apply.
• Click OK.
• Restart your computer.
