Windows 10: Keyboard not working when entering Microsoft account password on lockscreen

Hello so I got into a problem that I am facing. So I was thinking of removing my pin from windows 10 latest update and turn on "power on when AC connected" from bios so I can continue downloading games automatically even if there's a power outage. I followed these exact instructions to remove pin from windows that I got from another Microsoft community post which states:"Open the Settings, and click/tap on the Accounts icon.If you are using a Microsoft Account to sign in, then make sure that you verify your account on the PC.Select Sign-in options, and click/tap

Can't sign in to windows with the same password by which I am able to sign in to my Microsoft account

This issue might occur if there is change in Microsoft account settings.

• When you say that "windows using the same password", are you getting any error message when you enter the password?
• Have you checked the issue while entering with a different keyboard?
• Were you connected the computer to a internet connection while logging into the computer with Microsoft account?
• When you say that "resetting the password.", have you tried to reset the password from Microsoft website?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to enter the password through different keyboard and through On-screen keyboard. Check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to try entering the password with a different password.

Step 2: I recommend you to check the internet connect of the computer and make sure that internet is available for the computer while enter the Microsoft password.

Step 3: I suggest you to follow the steps provided in the Microsoft account and check if it helps.

Lockscreen without password

Correct. I switched to a local account with no password.

The only other thing I can suggest is, create a photo screensaver with your desired image, then turn off screensaver settings. Then, navigate to "C:\Windows\System32\PhotoScreensaver.scr" and create a shortcut to the 'PhotoScreensaver.scr' file and pin it to your taskbar or quick launch and click it to engage:





EDIT: Mind you, it won't be the Lock Screen with the date and time on it though! *Wink
