Windows 10: Keyboard partially out of order : i=5, j=1, etc.

My WMP was out of order for an unknown reason. On July 26th I got in touch with MS assistance. The person took over my pc and helped me reinstall WMP. However I realised on next morning that my keyboard got partially out of order : i=5, j=1, etc. So am now bound to use the visual keyboard, which is very slow. On July 27th I got in touch again for this problem, spent a very long time with a member of MS team. He tried unsuccessfully to take over, So pb remains. What can I do ?

Capital J will not print

I understand your concern and will help you with the issue.

To begin with troubleshooting,I would like you to answer the following question:

• Are you able to print any other letter with the help of shift key?
• Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
• Are you facing this issue with both the shift key?

I would suggest you to follow the steps below:

Step 1

If both Shift keys are not working, Try to check if sticky keys feature on windows is on. Sticky keys should be disabled.

To disable sticky keys, Please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + X and click on Control panel.
• Go into control panel > Accessibility Options.
• under keyboard there is sticky keys.
• Remove the tick and click apply and
  OK.

If issue persists,

Step 2

Follow the steps below to update the keyboard drivers.

• Press Windows + X key on the keyboard.
• Go to device manager.
• Right-click your keyboard devices.
• Click Update Driver Software and then follow the steps in the wizard that appears.

Restart the computer and check.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Podcasts not syncing in order 1-5, instead it syncs 1 3 4 5 2, or some other random order

Update 09/02/11- sometimes its better and sometimes its worse but it not always just one file out of order . the majority of the time it looks like 3 4 1 7 6 9 8 10 2 5.
