Windows 10: Keyboard Pressing Ctrl and = and - by itself after windows 11 Upgrade

I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and shortly afterwards I noticed my webpages and Discord zooming in and out randomly. I quickly discovered that this coorisponds to pressing Ctrl and = to zoom in and Ctrl and - to zoom out. I did a test with an online javascript key event tester to discover that randomly without anything touching the keyboard that it would indeed press the keys by itself randomly every minute or two.My first check was for a virus or malware, nothing at all. I have not made any system or application changes. I updated drivers, uninstalled Razor Synapse and reinstalled it for m

As per your query, I suggest you to clear your Internet Explorer 11 cache and cookies and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below:

  Press Shift + ctrl + Delete key on your keyboard.

Computer acts as if the CTRL key is pressed down when it is not

Hey guys,

I've been experiencing an issue with my pc (Windows 10) recently where my computer acts as if the CTRL key is pressed down when in fact it is not. For example, typing "w" in a web browser executes the CTRL + w command, and so forth. Viewing the onscreen
keyboard confirms that the CTRL key is pressed down. Here are the things I have tried to fix this:

• press both CTRL keys for 15 seconds
• turn off sticky keys, toggle keys, and filter keys
• switch out my keyboard
• plug my keyboard into a different usb port
• uninstall and reinstall my keyboard drivers
• hold CTRL + Shift for 15 seconds
• reinstall windows
• run system file checker

The problem seems to be completely random, but occurs mostly when I'm running a program other than a web browser, such as a game. Any help with fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

Deleting contacts from Windows 10


When you say Windows Mail Live are you referring to Mail app or Windows Live Mail?

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Open Windows Live Mail.
• Press Ctrl + 3 using your keyboard. Right-click on the contact to delete it if it is a single contact.
• Highlight all contacts by pressing Ctrl + A.
• Click Delete located on the Ribbon bar.
• Click OK when you see the message These contacts will also be deleted from Hotmail, Messenger, and other Windows Live services.

After following the steps above, all your contacts that you have manually added to your account will be deleted however, contacts coming from third-party sites such as Facebook will not be deleted unless you remove Facebook from your account.

For Mail app:

Open People app then delete the contact.
