Windows 10: Keyboard problem with letter D & S

Hi everyone, I'm having a problem. When I try to type capital "S" Shift + s or capital "D" Shift + d, it would, most of the time, highlight the texts above similar to when you're trying Shift + Pageup. Or it would scroll to the top/bottom of the page, and it would not let you scroll down until you hit another key. Or, it would move the cursor to the top line of the document.Sometimes hitting "d" & "s" repeatedly would do the same thing.So far it's only s & dPlease help me.

Some keyboard letters not working

• When you click the buttons on onscreen keyboard using mouse, what happens?
• What is the make and model number of the computer?
  
• Are you using a laptop or desktop?
• Are you using the external keyboard?

This issue might be caused due to program conflict or hardware problem.

Please follow the below methods and check if it helps:



Method 1: I would suggest you to run
hardware and devices troubleshooter and see if that helps.

a. Press Windows Key +R, type Control Panel.

b. Type troubleshooting in the search bar, click on troubleshooting.

c. Click on Hardware and Sound, click on
Hardware and Devices.

d. Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: Put the computer in a Clean Boot state to see if there is any software conflict as clean boot helps in eliminating software conflicts.

Note: After performing the troubleshooting steps in clean boot, follow
Steps from the link to return the computer to Normal startup mode.





Method 3: Update the drivers for the Keyboard.



Follow these steps to un-install the Graphics driver:

a. Drag the mouse to bottom left corner and right-click on the “Start icon”.

b. Look for the Keyboard drivers.

d. Right-click on the keyboard drivers and click on “update drivers”.
