Windows 10: Keyboard Shift-arrow jumping lines in Outlook Win11

Since I've updated to Windows 11 when I hold shift and arrow up or down in Outlook 2021 to highlight a group of lines/emails to delete, the highlights line jumps up or down, Sometimes jumping ahead 2-3 lines and then jumping up 1-2 lines. The might be an Outlook issue, since this doesn't happen in the file explorer doing the same highlighting multiple files. I've tried with Num Lock on/off and Shift lock on/off, still the same issue. Has anyone left seen this? Is there any fix? Thank you

Ctrl+Shift Arrow-Keys not working as expected

I suspect this is a case of PEBKAC

Ctrl+Shift+↑/↓ is supposed to move lines in Notepad++.

Shift+↑/↓ will select text.

In general, unless specific application overloads this behavior:

• Shift enables text selection as cursor moves (either with arrows or Home/End/Page Up/Page Down keys)
  
• Ctrl+←/→ makes cursor move by words instead of characters
  
• Ctrl+Page Up/Page Down jumps to actual next page, not just next screen (ie. scrolls document to the top of next sheet of paper)
  
• Ctrl+Home/End jumps to beginning/end of the document
  

 

Keyboard Issues, LEFT SHIFT + LEFT CTRL + L/R ARROW doesn't work on travelmate P645-S windows10

Recently i am facing issues with my laptop. Key combinations doesn't work especially with SHIFT.

List of combinations (Not working) :

LEFT SHIFT + LEFT CTRL + LEFT ARROW

LEFT SHIFT + LEFT CTRL + RIGHT ARROW

LEFT SHIFT + LEFT CTRL + UP ARROW

LEFT SHIFT + LEFT CTRL + DOWN ARROW

RIGHT SHIFT + RIGHT CTRL + RIGHT ARROW

List of combinations (Working) :

RIGHT SHIFT + RIGHT CTRL + RIGHT ARROW

CTRL + C, CTRL + V, CTRL + X

Other than above 'working' combinations no other combination works with CTRL and SHIFT

Please let me know why this issue is occurring!

Is this a hardware issue/ software issue?

i have updated keyboard drivers, also uninstalled and restarted laptop & let drivers install automatically.

Also i have checked if laptop's keyboard is loose or anything... everything is fine on that side.

P.S.

Recently i have upgraded my 4+4 GB RAM to 4+8 GB RAM

this RAM is DDR3 and may not be original

 

I want to add a comma at the end of every line

• Click anywhere in the first line.
• Press the End button on your keyboard.
• Press the comma button on your keyboard.
• Press the downward pointing arrow on your keyboard.
• Press the End button on your keyboard.
• Press the comma button on your keyboard.
• Repeat steps 4 - 6 over and over until you reach the last line.

If adding a comma at the end of a line causes the line to wrap, adjust the number of words in the line.
