  2. how to effectively hide or disable the taskbar?

    Hi,

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?

If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

    • Right click on Taskbar.
    • Click on Properties
    • Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
    • Click on OK.

    Hope this information helps.

  3. CTRL Keyboard Shortcuts not working

I have recently discovered that whenever I try to use keyboard shortcuts (i.e. ctrl + C, ctrl + Z, etc.) with my LEFT control key, nothing happens. Instead, it will just type the letter I tried to use in the shortcut. So if I try to copy, it will enter a
    C. This is only happening on my left ctrl key; the right ctrl still works fine. I do not think this is a program related since it is happening on all programs, excel, word, Chrome, notepad, everything. I know it's not the keyboard itself because if I hit ctrl
+ up arrow while moving through excel, it will still take me to the edge of the data being looked at.

I have already tried restarting my system, uninstalling all keyboard drivers and reinstalling, corrected the preferred languages, and toggled on/off the function key. Does anyone have any other ideas on how to fix this? I would like to avoid going into the
    BIOS if possible.

some control keys (CTRL + c,v,t) not working...

    Hi,

Some of ctrl shortcuts with left control are suddenly not working anymore, like ctrl v,c,t but they are working with the right control key. They were working a few days ago. Also, ctrl z and x are working (with both left and right) so left control key
IS working physically (on-screen keyboard also show the key being pressed).

A few random keys with left shift are also not responding like shift+5 and some others (seems absolutely random). Currently using Windows 10.

What I already tried (and failed, obviously):

    • troubleshooter for keyboard
    • checked it in Safe Mode
    • uninstalled the keyboard driver (from device manager) and restart the computer
    • updating the keyboard driver (from device manager)
    • updating windows
    • signing out and creating a new account
    • resetting the BIOS to default
    • reinstalled the whole windows!!
Although the shortcuts are working with an external keyboard.

Please Help me I have tried many things but none are working... And I can't keep using the external keyboard, and these shortcuts not working is super frustrating!!! HELP!!!
