Windows 10: Keyboard Shortcut Issue

Hello, I don't know if i'm writing this in the right thread so I apologize ahead of time. I just recently upgraded to a laptop that does not have the numeric number pad, I have always been able to do the "Alt + 3" to do a heart emoji but now I am unable to do it with the number 3 key on along the front row numbers, Is there any way to enable this or perform the action without the num pad?

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

• Press Windows key + W and type
  troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

Move to next method if you still face this issue.

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall the Keyboard driver from manufacturer’s website.

• Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager.
• Search for Keyboard driver and expand it.
• Right click on the Keyboard driver
  and select Uninstall.

I suggest you to download the latest keyboard drivers from the manufacturers website. If the issue persist, then let us know the make and model of your device.

How to fix emoji keyboard not showing up using shortcut

This issue is often caused by a corrupted or missing data file. To better isolate if this is a user profile specific or an emerging issue, we suggest that you create a new user profile and try to use the same keyboard shortcut to get the emoji keyboard to
