Windows 10: Keyboard side arrow keys not working.

Hi everyone.I have a Asus laptop.After sometime when i start the laptop, the side arrow keys are disabled in laptop's keyboard as well as in the external keyboard. But the keys are functioning in vlc media player but not in chrome and intellij. I dont know what is the problem. The keys are functioning only for some seconds after logging in windows, then are automatically disabling. The up and down keys are working always. I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. Please look into this matter and kindly provide the solution.

down arrow key stopped working

My razor lycosa down arrow key decided to not respond at some point today. The other ones work and so does the numpad arrow if i turn off the numlock. Sounds like its just broken and im screwed, but any suggestions?

Since you are able to use the other shortcut keys, means that the keyboard works fine. This issue can occur if the
Arrow keys on the keyboard are faulty.

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it helps:

Method 1:

Try using the Arrow keys on other programs. Check if they are functional.

Most of the sytems have “Fn” key or a Function Lock key. This key can be used to
Enable and Disable the Arrow keys. Check if the
Arrow keys function after toggling the Fn key.

Method 2:

Try connecting a different keyboard to your computer. Try the shortcut keys once again. Check if they works.

Keyboard Volume Keys not working while in-game

I happen to have used the Tt Challenger Pro keyboard in the past, and the volume keys worked flawlessly in every game, so it's indeed a weird problem. I would suggest the same thing sneekypeet suggested, using the keyboard software and assign this function to a hotkey, but you said that didn't work either, so yeah...
