Windows 10: Keyboard strokes not registering/delayed input.

I'm on Windows 11, use a Logitech K850 keyboard, and am an avid Minecraft-er.Occasionally, when I'm playing the game, I experience input issues, such as delayed input, or input not registering at all.This isn't the first time I've experienced this problem, I had the same issues over a year ago, and they miraculously went away for several months, now they're back and ruin any attempt to play the game competitively.I've sort of deducted that the key inputs only start acting up when I press too many keys at once, perhaps overloading the keyboard's processing unit, but I'm not very smart tech-wise

Thanks for your reply. The stroke input keyboard from the iOS I was referring to actually is the Chinese input one you mentioned. Obviously this isn't ideal for Japanese input. However the stroke input available as part of the Japanese dictionary app Midori
much better. It has excellent character recognition.

Small delay before keyboard registers input at login (Windows11)

Hey guys,

Just upgraded (with a fresh install) to Windows 11, and I’m noticing that there’s a 5-10 second delay from when I boot to the login screen to when I Windows registers my keyboard input to enter my password.

Tried different keyboards, tried another fresh install of Windows. It’s totally fine after that delay, so it’s more a minor annoyance but if it can be fixed, I’d like to try!

It’s worth noting that if I mash the keyboard as I get to the login screen (within milliseconds of seeing the lockscreen), the keyboard input is totally fine, but if I leave it even a second, it gets this delay issue instead for that 5-10 seconds.

I’m wondering if this could be related to the language bar loading up at boot, as when I mash the keyboard and quickly login to windows, the language bar loads up after I get to desktop, versus the normal delayed input startup, where language bar has clearly loaded before hitting desktop. Maybe it’s setting the default language input keyboard layout and takes a few seconds to do so before it registers keystrokes?

I hope this makes sense!

Keyboard Input Delay Problems in Games

Hello,

I have had keyboard input delay on my PC ever since I got it, about 2 years ago. It causes keyboard button presses to register late, or for longer than they are supposed to. This is especially noticeable while playing games but can happen anywhere as I have had a few spikes just typing something in the search bar on a browser.

There was a Windows update that completely resolved this problem about a year ago. But unfortunately, they are back after my PC installed a BIOS update about a month ago, and I started having input delay again. This problem occurs with every keyboard I have, it doesn't matter if it is USB or Bluetooth.

I already tried updating my keyboard drivers, in which it said I already have the latest version, and I also uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, which didn't help with this issue.
