Windows 10: Keyboard stuck typing caps of letters and a few keys not doing what they are supposed to...

I was swiping something off my keyboard and hit a bunch of keys and now it’s not doing correct inputs and is acting whack, I can no longer input my password

This instance could have been caused by Num Lock. Try these steps for us to fix this:

• Press the Start key + R.
• Type "osk" in the box and hit Enter.
• On the screen keyboard, try toggling Num Lock, Scroll Lock and
  Caps Lock a few times. Num Lock might be stuck on your keyboard (Num Lock key isn't working).

Please let us know if that resolves your concern.

 

only letter A is typing in capital letter while caps lock is off other keys are working properly in my dell external keyboard for laptop.

I am using dell external keyboard for my laptop i dont know what buttons i have pressed now even if caps lock is off only letter A is typing in capital letter and others are working properly even when i am pressing shift key it is automatically typing A letter.

 

Keyboard Shift key holding down will not Capitize Letters

Bedore I Trash my wireless Keyboard....I thought it best to Post the issue here in case there is a Fix to what I Broke...let me Explain.

I was cleaning my wireless Keyboard and while doing so I push many buttons...some I am sure by themselves, others times Multipile keyboard buttons were pushed. After cleaning when I went to use the Keyboard, BOTH shift (Right and Left Sides of keyboard) keys will not when either is held down...capitalize letters.

I have checked Cap Lock.....it changes between Small and Cap Lock fine. Keeping it on small cap lock....again, when I press any Key on the Keyboard, small letters which is correct. When I hold down either SHIFT KEY no Keyboard ...No Letters Capitalize...they type as small letters.

I tried several softwares where typing is available, shift Key does not Capitalize Letters when held down as it should.

I did connect another Keyboard and the SHIFT KEYS on that New Keyboard...when I press the SHIFT KEY...does Capitize all letters, unpressed, types as it should all small letters.

Is it possible when I was Cleaning the Keyboard and pressed a key or Multipile keys that somehow removed the SHIFT KEY Keyboard assignment to NOT Capitize Letters when Pressed? If so, how would I re-assign that command to the Shift key?
