Windows 10: Keyboard will not recognize capital 'g'

Okay, so just the other day I noticed that my keyboard will not recognize when I try to capitalize the letter 'g'. I'm on a laptop currently not sure the model but it's got the built in keyboard and it's getting to be pretty frustrating.I don't think that it's my shift keys because I can capitalize literally every other letter and use special characters. It's just that one key. I can get a capital 'g' when I use caps lock, it's just when I try to use shift with 'g' in order to capitalize a name it decides it doesn't want to work. I've tried using the keyboard troubleshooter and it just told

turn off capitalization in windows 10

• When you say "turn off capitalization in text and email", does all the letters you tried to type in is capitalized or only the first letter of a sentence is capitalized?

If you're using Windows 10 Mobile and would like to turn off/disable capitalize the first letter of a sentence, you can disable it by going to
Settings > Time and language > Keyboard
> Tap the keyboard you want to configure (example: English (United States)). Then, uncheck it.
