Windows 10: Keyboard won't appear so that i can sign in to nuvision tablet

It was working fine up until last night. I had to update windows and I did that. It took too long to update so I left it on the charger while it updated. Get up this morning and the keyboard isn't popping up so that I can sign into the tablet. So I can't even sign in to troubleshoot any further. When I plug the tablet into the computer, it doesn't pop up on there. It only shows it's charging. HELP PLEASE! It's brand new so I'm not understanding why it isn't working already

Thanks, Alden. I couldn't try the hardware troubleshooter. I couldn't enter anything in search bar. But I did change to tablet mode and that seemed to do the trick. I'm getting the keyboard now when I need it.
