Windows 10: Keyboard won't type specific letters, i tried everything

    Keyboard won't type specific letters, i tried everything


    My keyboard isn't typing specific keys. like the Letter w, or the number 2, or volume keys.Those do not work, i tried everything, updating the driver, restarting the laptop yes im using a laptopYet they don't work.There are rare occurrences they do work, but for now they don't.I'd appreciate for the help.

    My caps lock won t turn off

    I'm typing a letter in word, it was fine then started using all caps it won t turn them the usual way

    Hi Bob,

    Sorry for the delay in replying. I would suggest you to try the Onscreen keyboard and check if it helps.

    Please have a look at this article and check if it helps. Even though the article is for Windows 8.1, the option to enable the onscreen keyboard is the same.

    Use the On-Screen Keyboard (OSK) to type

    After you are able to log in, I would suggest you to change the log in option or you may follow the steps provided by Neha Gupta to update the drivers and check if it helps.

    Hi,

    Tap each Ctrl, Alt and Shift key briskly a few times. If that doesn't resolve the issue, restart the computer.
