Windows 10: Keyboard

I was recently playing Space Engineers, and left the game on overnight as I always do as it occasionally takes forever for a world to load. When I awoke the next morning, I found that certain keys on my keyboard weren't working picture related - image is from a keyboard tester. All keys in green work, as well as any "double keys". Anything not in green, or that is not paired up with another key of the same function doesn't work. If I shut the computer down and leave it for a few hours or a day, the keyboard starts working again. It only happens when I load up a save on any game I've tried multiple. Rebooting doesn't work, unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back in, either in the same spot or elsewhere doesn't work, and the drivers are fully updated. I've tried uninstalling the keyboard followed by reinstalling, and that doesn't help, either. I'm not entirely certain if it's truly a keyboard problem, or a computer problem, as nothing I've tried has worked. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I suggest you to check if the issue persists when you connect another keyboard to your system.

If the issue is with the keyboard, then suggest you to update the keyboard drivers by following the steps below.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager from the list.
  
• 
  Expand ‘Keyboard’ from the list.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver and select ‘update driver software’ and follow the prompts.

To address your concern, we suggest that you try the following steps:

• Click Start and then click Settings
• Click on Ease of access
• Click Keyboard in the left pane
• Turn off Filter Keys in the right pane

Also, try pressing the Fn+ Num Lock keys to turn off the Number lock function.
