Windows 10: Keychron K6 not pairing to my PC's bluetooth.

Bluetooth is installed and turned on, but isn't recognizing the keyboard when I try to pair.

Keychron K6 keyboard not showing up in Bluetooth options on Surface 7 Pro

Hi there,

I have a Bluetooth keyboard (Keychron K6) that is not recognized by my Surface 7 Pro.
When trying to connect to other devices like my home PC or my iPhone, the keyboard is instantly recognized and fully functional. The problem is only with my Surface 7 Pro.

How does the problem occur:
1. Open "Bluetooth and other devices"

2. Switch on Bluetooth

3. Enter pairing mode on keyboard

4. Press "Add Bluetooth or other device"

5. Press "Bluetooth"
6. PROBLEM - Keyboard is not showing up in list of pairable devices

Things I've already tried:

1. Restarting my Surface and my keyboard
2. Remove all Bluetooth drivers from the device manager (once with checking the "Delete the driver software for this device" and once without just to make sure)
3. Reset my keyboard to factory
4. Reset Windows on my Surface
5. From "Bluetooth and other devices" open "More Bluetooth options" and enabling "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC"

6. Try to search for a "secretly" installed driver of the keyboard to uninstall/repair it (there are no drivers of this keyboard installed)

thank you for the instructions.

I first tried the 5 steps you've suggested, restarting and trying to connect my keyboard after every step. The problem was still present after all the steps.

Regarding your questions:

Yes, this is the Keychron K6 Bluetooth Mechanical Keyboard that can be connected by wire. When connected by wire everything works by the way.

I reset my Windows like you stated it in your question, keeping my files. But as I said above, I now reinstalled Windows via step 5 of your suggestions without any success.
Lastly the other Bluetooth devices. I have a Surface Pen connected to the Surface, no problems at all there. But when trying out more devices - my bad there for not doing it earlier - I actually had a lot of problems... I tried connecting some devices to the Surface and my home PC that connects to the devices via a USB Bluetooth adapter. The results were as follows:

So, it seems like the Bluetooth connection works, just very poorly... Do you have any other ideas?

Oh and btw, when I first got my Surface the AirPods Pro and the Arc Mouse both worked perfectly. I just haven't use them with my Surface in the last months / last year. Must have been an update that bricked the Bluetooth.
And to cross this out as a reason: the Surface newer got damaged by fall or water or anything like that.

 

Bluetooth Stopped pairing

On Monday my wireless headphones were working ok, on Tuesday they weren't . When I switch them on now, I still get the 'connected' message, but they no longer show up in the list of connected devices. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the Bluetooth adapter, re-installing the drivers, rolling back the drivers etc, and although i get the 'connected' and 'pairing' messages, they still don't appear on the list and are not working. Any suggestions, please? (There may have been an update installed on Monday night?) Windows 10 Pro. version 22H2. Build 19045.3930
