    Keypad will not except any input numerical or letters totally locked out of computer laptop


    After changing my Microsoft password and working on the computer, no problems. Next day started up the laptop Dell Inspiration and number keypad would not accept my pin. Restarted twice, no change, changed password twice and second time I could access my laptop. NO IDEA what caused this no error messages or other warnings. Any suggestions? Had been working fine until just now. So frustrating!!!

    HP laptop numeric keypad

    have new HP laptop, but do not know how to lock the numeric keypad into the number only position. It has the key, but no light and when I push the key it does not lock the keypad into number only. Any suggestions. Has the new optane intel i3 inside

    Hi Harshavardhan Rathod and thanks for answering me.

    I do not need a feedback on a key stroke.

    I do need a feedback on the status of a numeric keypad.

    I need to know if that numeric keypad is toggled as cursor arrows or as number input.

    If you write:

    "there may be no option to visualize the Num Lock on the screen."

    Should I still hope that "maybe" there is?

    "maybe" somewhere else?
