    I am having various keys not working correctly: When I type the "p" button "ip" comes up every time: "i" appears before the "p" which was typed. the "end" button types " , " the "pg dn" button types "k" the "pg up" button types "\" the "home" button types "]" the "left arrow" button types "i" the "right arrow" button types "8" This is happening on Windows 10 HP spectre laptop I have restarted the laptop and that did not help. I have shut the laptop off completely and turned it back on, similarly did not help. I have already tried keyboard troubleshooting and it said there was no issue. but

    down arrow key stopped working

    My razor lycosa down arrow key decided to not respond at some point today. The other ones work and so does the numpad arrow if i turn off the numlock. Sounds like its just broken and im screwed, but any suggestions?

    Right arrow key isn't working

    My laptop's right arrow key isn't working. It is
    not a hard wire problem because every time I use right arrow key from
    external keyboard, it doesn't work also. Somebody please help me. Thanks in advance.

    Right and left arrow keys not working properly

    Hello Ali,

    I'm Jin, a fellow Windows 10 user and an independent advisor.

    I understand that the right and left arrow keys of your keyboard isn't working properly.

    Here are some list that you help you determine the cause and possible fixes:

    **There could be some dirt or debris that fall on to that keys and can obstruct for it to work properly. Try removing the key and clean the area.

    **If it's the function keys that are not working, you may have toggled the F-lock key. F-Lock key is used to turn on or off.

    **Some keys aren't used in certain programs. Test the keys that isn't working on other programs such Word, Notepad or your web browser.

    **Program interference. Run Windows in safe mode and check if the issue will appear:
    Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10

    **Driver issue. Visit your device's manufacturer website and download the latest keyboard driver.

    You can also start troubleshooting the keyboard via Device Manager.

    1. Press Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc then hit Enter.

    2. Click on Keyboards.

    2. Right-click on the keyboard driver.

    3. Select Update this driver.

    If updating doesn't help, click on uninstall this driver instead. Then restart your device.

    **Defective Keyboard. If you've tried all the suggestions above and its still not working, most likely the keyboard is damaged or defective and needs to be replaced.
