Windows 10: Keys Stay Held Down not physically After Input is Stopped.

As claimed in the title, my computer holds down keys longer then the button is physically depressed. I have made multiple other forum posts and searched through other websites yet I cannot find a description and solution for the exact problem I have been having, so I am coming here there is another forum post for a similar issue, but the person is using a laptop and there was not a solution given. I have determined that the issue is NOT hardware related, as it occurs across different keyboards and usb ports. The issue becomes more severe the longer the computer has been turned on and the amo

Keys sticking (not physically)

I am encountering an issue where my computer (windows 10) will act as if a key on the keyboard is being held down even if it is not. The keys are not physically sticking.

The issue seems to manifest exclusively when a key is pressed a lot in a short time span (such as the W, A, S, or D keys when in games), and pressing the key again causes the erroneous input to cease.

I have sticky keys turned off so I do not know what is causing this and would appreciate a way to stop it from happening.

Before we proceed, please answer the following questions to help you better.

• Does this issue occur only while using the Microsoft Office Suite?
• What is the exact error message that you get?

Check if the Sticky Keys and Toggle keys are turned on. If yes, I suggest you to turn it off. To do so, follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + I and click on Ease of Access.
• Click on Keyboard tab.
• Turn off Sticky Keys and Toggle keys.
• Check if the issue persist.

Laptop Keys Stay Pressed (But Not Physically)

Dear Microsoft community forums,

I've had my HP laptop for about a year and there's something that's been really bothering me about my laptop that has been happening since the day I've got it. When I hold down a key for more than five seconds (this is very inconsistent, as it only happens
sometimes) it stays "pressed" (but not physically) until it's pressed again. This isn't a physical issue as it happened from day one and although I found a solution online it didn't work for Windows 10. and this can happen with any key at any time. It's happened
in Microsoft Word and most annoyingly any video game. It's identical to this problem:

This problem, however, never got resolved. Does anyone know what causes this and how to stop it in Windows 10?
