    Keys sticking not physically

I am encountering an issue where my computer windows 11 will have the sticky key sound whenever i press a key The keys are not physically sticking. The issue seems to manifest exclusively when a key is pressed down anytime such as the W, A, S, or D keys when in games, and pressing the key again causes the erroneous input to cease.I have sticky keys turned off so I do not know what is causing this and would appreciate a way to stop it from happening and it only happens in one game the rest of the games i play does not encounter this problem.Thanks.

    :)

  2. Keys sticking (not physically)

I am encountering an issue where my computer (windows 10) will act as if a key on the keyboard is being held down even if it is not. The keys are not physically sticking.

The issue seems to manifest exclusively when a key is pressed a lot in a short time span (such as the W, A, S, or D keys when in games), and pressing the key again causes the erroneous input to cease.

I have sticky keys turned off so I do not know what is causing this and would appreciate a way to stop it from happening.

    Thanks.

    Keys sticking (not physically)

    Greetings,

My name is Rhaine, I'm an Independent Advisor and community member like you.

I am also using Windows 10 pc. Let us work together to sort this out.

Is that a external keyboard? if yes, kindly with other device, if issue persist most like the keyboard is faulty.

Please try the followings steps below.

    Press Windows Key + X

    Go to device manager

    Go to Keyboard drivers

    Right click and uninstall

After restart the driver will be automatically installed.

    Check for Windows Updates

    1. Press Windows Key + X

    2. Click Settings

    3. Go to Windows Update Settings

    4. Check for updates and install them to optimize your system.

Restart your pc, if issue persist you can perform system restore.

-This process will take your computer settings back to an earlier point in time where computer is working fine. If there's any changes made on your computer that removes the service, system restore should be able to fix the issue for you. To perform system
restore please follow the steps below:

    1. Open the run box by pressing the Windows key + R and type rstrui.exe

    2. Once system restore windows open, normally it will suggest a restore point (sometimes it doesn't) if it does, select the 2nd option and hit next

    3. Select your desired restore point date and time and hit next and finish.

Windows will going to restart your computer to initiate system restore. System restore might take several minutes to complete depending on the current speed of your computer and the changes it will made. Applications and updates that was installed on the computer
prior to the date selected will be removed. It is important that when system restore starts, process must not be interrupted.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    With Warm Regards,

    Keyboard keys stick in games

Are you sure sticky keys is off? It's an annoying feature they started adding in XP to help with keys sticking.
Also is your keyboard physically clean? If the button is jammed that would cause the same problem. Also another problem is the rubber/silicon contact could be stuck to the PCB
