Windows 10: Keystroke Issue Repeating keystrokes and/or missing keystrokes

I have a user with a brand new Precision Precision 5680 tower with an Intel Xeon w3-2423 processor, 16 GB of ram, and an AMD Radeon graphic card. The keyboard is a generic wired Dell keyboard and the mouse is Logitech MX Ergo trackball mouse. Aside from the monitors, nothing else is plugged in.The issue is when typing, the keyboard will suddenly repeat letters. Initially it would repeat a letter for each new keystroke he made. I think now it will just repeat a letter when no keys are pressed. Recently, it will now start skipping his keystrokes, but leaving a blank space instead. This hap

I'm having the same exact issue and neither of the above solutions worked. I am not getting any errors, and the keyboard works correctly on other computers. Besides missing the first keystroke, it sometimes also catches on a keystroke and repeats it over
and over until I hit escape. Also, I work from home occasionally, and to prevent lugging the keyboard back and forth, I have another one at home. The issue is present on both keyboards.
