Windows 10: Kind of forced to take the 2004 update

So i'm trying to completely wipe out my pc and reinstall windows 10 due to some excessive problems i've been having lately, i already have the files i wanna keep on another hard drive so that's not a problem, but when i tried downloading the media tool from Microsoft website, the exe file name is "MediaCreationTool2004.exe" which implies it will install the 2004 version, yet when i go to Settings> Updates, it says my computer is not yet ready to get it.

So will i be forced to have the 2004 version when i install windows back or will it install an older stable version for my computer ?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

I've not seen (or heard about) this before.

I just performed a forced Win 10 update from a 1909 build to the latest 2004 build. I now no longer have access to my programs list via either the Start sequence or the Windows key! Can anyone suggest a fix? For me it’s serious detriment.

6303c - Forcing Firmware Update v10

Hi All



I got a 6303 as it's listed on BMW as being 100% compliant with incar bluetooth. Sadly Orange have branded the phone which means that it's stuck on v9.40 and NSU shows no updates as being available.



Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can force a firmware update to v10 and whether it will damage the phone?



Any suggestion much appreciated.
