Windows 10: Kindle for PC Installation and launch directory location change.

Hi there, I don't like desktop shortcuts for various reasons, but I am finding I can't move the Amazon Kindle for PC app launch icon from the desktop without it pseudo-uninstalling the app completely, so that when you try and launch the Kindle app from the start menu it goes through the install process again and re-installs the launch icon on the desktop. Is there any way to change this? I've tried using the 'install as Administrator' but there is no chance to change the install location as far as I can find, thus leaving the only option to try and move the desktop icon - which although it a

Correct Directory Location For Pictures Folder

"Now Documents, Videos etc say file location is This PC. But Pictures file location is C:\Users\PeteyBoPetey\Pictures."

If we understand you correctly, the issue is that Pictures doesn't appear in the left panel under This PC. The correct location IS C:\Users\PeteyBoPetey\Pictures. This is only an issue of using Step 8 in the tutorial to add it back to the list. See if this screenshot is what you want to achieve- put Pictures folder back in list on L.

Upon analyzing the details provided in this thread, you can troubleshoot your
Kindle Fire
by updating the
MTP USB Device driver. To do this, follow these steps:

  On the search bar, type
  Device Manager
  and hit

  Device Manager,
